Motion to Discharge a Committee from the Consideration of a Resolution

To the Clerk of the House of Representatives:

Pursuant to clause 2 of rule XV, I, Lucy McBath, move to discharge the Committee on Rules from the consideration of the resolution (H.Res. 452) entitled, a resolution providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 698) to regulate assault weapons, to ensure that the right to keep and bear arms is not unlimited, and for other purposes, which was referred to said committee May 26th, 2023, in support of which motion the undersigned Members of the House of Representatives affix their signatures, to wit:
