Gift and Travel Filings

What are Gift and Travel Filings?

In accordance with House Rule 25 of the 109th Congress, Members, officers, and staff must file reports which detail travel-related expenses reimbursed by nongovernment sources and charitable contributions made in lieu of honoraria (a payment for services that do not have a set fee).

Gift and Travel reports filed with the Clerk are available for public inspection for the current Congress and previous two Congresses. These filings include Member & Officer Travel, Staff Travel, Advance Authorization, and Charitable Contributions.
