Financial Disclosure Application (right-click link and select "Save Target As" to begin download)

Steps to install the Financial Disclosure Application:

The installation program cannot install system files or update shared files if they are in use. Before proceeding, we recommend that you close any applications you may be running.
Download the file FD2008.exe to your workstation desktop (right-click the link and selecting "Save Target As").
After downloading, double click on the file FD2008.exe
The Welcome Screen will appear . Click the Next button to continue.
Select Destination Directory . Click the Next button to accept the default of "C:\Program Files\Financial Disclosure 2008" or click the browse button to change the destination directory.

The user can accept the default or browse to a new directory, and then choose the 'Next' button to continue, the 'Back' button, or the 'Cancel' button.

Caution: Installing over top of a previous installation will overwrite the data file resulting in the loss of any data put into the Financial Disclosure application.
Click Next again to complete the installation.
Click the Finish button.
Once complete, some systems may require you to reboot your workstation.
The program places an icon shortcut on your desktop which is used to start the Financial Disclosure program.
Delete the downloaded file FD2008.exe from your desktop.
The file to import last year's General Information and Schedule III data (Source and Type) from - if the defaults were chosen during last year's installation - is Financial2007.MDE located under the Program Files\Financial Disclosure 2007 folder.
