9:00:27 A.M. Today's prayer was offered by the House Chaplain, Rev. Patrick J. Conroy.
9:02:21 A.M. The Speaker announced approval of the Journal. Pursuant to clause 1, rule I, the Journal stands approved.
9:02:28 A.M. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair designated Mr. McNerney to lead the Members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
9:03:28 A.M. ONE MINUTE SPEECHES - The House proceeded with one minute speeches,which by direction of the Chair would be limited to 5 per side of the aisle.
9:14:34 A.M. H.R. 6156 Considered under the provisions of rule H. Res. 808. H.R. 6156 — "To authorize the extension of nondiscriminatory treatment (normal trade relations treatment) to products of the Russian Federation and Moldova and to require reports on the compliance of the Russian Federation with its obligations as a member of the World Trade Organization, and for other purposes."
9:14:39 A.M. H.R. 6156 Rule provides for consideration of H.R. 6156 with 1 hour and 30 minutes of general debate. Previous question shall be considered as ordered without intervening motions except motion to recommit with or without instructions. Measure will be considered read. Bill is closed to amendments. The resolution provides that an amendment in the nature of a substitute consisting of the text of Rules Committee Print 112-33 shall be considered as adopted. The resolution waives all points of order against consideration of the bill.
