3:45:02 P.M. The House convened, starting a new legislative day.
3:45:15 P.M. NOTIFICATION TO MEMBER OF CONGRESS TO REASSEMBLE - Pursuant to clause 12(e) of rule I and after consultation with the Minority Leader of the House, the Speaker notified the House that he had determined the public interest requires that the House reassemble at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018 and that further announcements would be provided by the Majority Leader's office.
3:45:48 P.M. Today's prayer was offered by the House Chaplain, Rev. Patrick J. Conroy.
3:46:31 P.M. The Speaker announced approval of the Journal. Pursuant to clause 1, rule I, the Journal stands approved.
3:46:33 P.M. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair designated Mr. Arrington to lead the Members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
3:47:16 P.M. The House received a message from the Clerk. Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk notified the House that she had received the following message from the Secretary of the Senate on November 30, 2018 at 12:56 p.m.: That the Senate passed S. 3628 and agreed to S. Con. Res. 54.
3:47:17 P.M. The House received a message from the Clerk. Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk notified the House that she had received the following message from the Secretary of the Senate on December 3, 2018 at 3:34 p.m.: That the Senate agreed to S. Con. Res. 55 and S. Con. Res. 56.
3:48:17 P.M. The Speaker laid before the House a message from the President transmitting a notification relating to the death of former President George Herbert Walker Bush.
3:51:15 P.M. H. Res. 1167 Considered as privileged matter. H. Res. 1167 — "Expressing the profound regret and sorrow of the House of Representatives on the death of George Herbert Walker Bush, forty-first President of the United States of America."
