12:00:32 P.M. The House convened, starting a new legislative day.
12:00:40 P.M. Today's prayer was offered by Minister LaShawn Worrell, New Psalmist Baptist Church, Baltimore, MD
12:02:39 P.M. The Speaker announced approval of the Journal. Pursuant to clause 1, rule I, the Journal stands approved.
12:02:44 P.M. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair designated Mr. Crawford to lead the Members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
12:02:55 P.M. MOMENT OF SILENCE - The House observed a moment of silence in honor of those who have been killed or wounded in service to our country and all those who serve and their families.
12:05:16 P.M. ONE MINUTE SPEECHES - The House proceeded with one minute speeches, which by direction of the Chair, would be limited to 15 per side of the aisle.
12:17:11 P.M. The Speaker announced that the House do now recess. The next meeting is subject to the call of the Chair.
4:31:00 P.M. The House convened, returning from a recess continuing the legislative day of November 28.
4:32:30 P.M. The House received a message from the Clerk. Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk notified the House that she had received the following message from the Secretary of the Senate on November 28, 2018, at 12:26 p.m.: that the Senate passed S. 3661, that the Senate agreed to the House amendment to S. 440, that the Senate agreed to the House amendment to S. 2074, that the Senate passed H.R. 1074, H.R. 5317, that the Senate passed H.R. 1918 with an amendment and that the Senate passed H.R. 3946 with amendments.
4:33:16 P.M. The Speaker announced that votes on suspensions, if ordered, will be postponed until a time to be announced.
4:33:28 P.M. H.R. 6753 Mr. Burgess moved to suspend the rules and pass the bill, as amended. H.R. 6753 — "To amend title XI of the Social Security Act to direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services to establish a public-private partnership for purposes of identifying health care waste, fraud, and abuse."
4:34:04 P.M. H.R. 6753 Considered under suspension of the rules.
