9:01:33 A.M. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair designated Ms. Maxine Waters of CA to lead the Members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
9:01:40 A.M. ONE MINUTE SPEECHES - The House proceeded with one minute speeches which by direction of the Chair, would be limited to 5 per side of the aisle.
9:08:37 A.M. H.R. 4790 Considered under the provisions of rule H. Res. 811. H.R. 4790 — "To amend the Volcker rule to give the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System sole rulemaking authority, to exclude community banks from the requirements of the Volcker rule, and for other purposes."
9:08:42 A.M. H.R. 4790 Rule provides for consideration of H.R. 4790 with 1 hour of general debate. Previous question shall be considered as ordered without intervening motions except motion to recommit with or without instructions. Measure will be considered read. Bill is closed to amendments. Also, the rule provides for motions to suspend the rules relating to H.J. Res. 2 on the legislative day of April 12, 2018.

12:00:01 P.M. Mr. McCarthy asked unanimous consent That when the House adjourns on Friday, April 13, 2018, it adjourn to meet on Monday, April 16, 2018, when it shall convene at noon for morning-hour debate and 2 p.m. for legislative business. Agreed to without objection.
12:00:26 P.M. ONE MINUTE SPEECHES - The House proceeded with further one minute speeches.
12:07:38 P.M. The House received a communication from The Honorable Bill Shuster, Chairman, Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Mr. Shuster notified the House that on April 12, 2018, pursuant to section 3307 of Title 40, United States Code, the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure met in open session to consider 16 resolutions included in the General Service Administration's Capital Investment and Leasing Programs and that the Committee continues to work to reduce the cost of federal property leases. The 16 resolutions considered include 11 lease prospectuses, four special emphasis program prospectuses, and one acquisition and represent $71 million in savings from avoided lease costs and space reductions. Referred to the Committee on Appropriations and ordered to be printed.
