9:00:29 A.M. Today's prayer was offered by the House Chaplain, Rev. Patrick J. Conroy.
9:01:51 A.M. POSTPONED PROCEEDINGS ON APPROVAL OF THE JOURNAL - The Chair announced that he had examined the Journal of the last day's proceedings and had approved it. Mr. Collins (GA) demanded that the question be put on agreeing to the Speaker's approval of the Journal and by voice vote, the Chair announced that the ayes had prevailed. Mr. Collins (GA) demanded the Yeas and Nays and the Chair announced that further proceedings on the question of agreeing to the Speaker's approval of the Journal would be postponed until later in the legislative day.
9:02:01 A.M. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair designated Mr. Olson to lead the Members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

Commission on International and Religious Freedom - pursuant to section 201(b) of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 (22 U.S.C. 6431) and the order of the House of Jan. 6, 2015, the Speaker appointed the following individuals on the part of the House for a term effective May 14, 2016, and ending May 14, 2018: Mr. Daniel I. Mark, Villanova, PA, and Ms. Kristina Arriaga, Alexandria, VA, to succeed Dr. Robert P. George.
