11:33:06 A.M. SPEAKER'S APPROVAL OF THE JOURNAL - Pursuant to section 2(a) of House Resolution 635, the Journal of the last day's proceedings is approved.
11:33:25 A.M. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair designated Mr. Whitfield to lead the Members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
11:33:26 A.M. H.R. 4596 FILING AUTHORITY - Mr. Whitfield asked unanimous consent that the Committee on Energy and Commerce be authorized to file a supplemental report on the bill H.R. 4596. Agreed to without objection.
11:33:55 A.M. The House received a message from the Clerk. Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk notified the House that she had received the following message from the Secretary of the Senate on March 9, 2016 at 9:29 a.m.: That the Senate passed S. 2426; that the Senate agreed to the House amendment to S. 1580; that the Senate agreed to the House amendment to S. 1172; that the Senate passed H.R. 1755, without amendment; and that the Senate agreed to H. Con. Res. 113, without amendment.
11:33:58 A.M. The House received a communication from Honorable Bill Shuster, Chairman. Pursuant to section 3307 of Title 40, United States Code, the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure met in open session to consider 24 resolutions included in the General Services Administration's Capital Investment and Leasing Programs. Copies of the resolutions adopted by the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure on March 2, 2016 are enclosed. Referred to Appropriations.
11:35:01 A.M. The Speaker announced that the House do now adjourn pursuant to a previous special order. The next meeting is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on March 14, 2016.
