3:02:25 P.M. The Chair announced that pursuant to section 3(a) of H. Res. 604, the Journal of the last day's proceedings was approved.
3:02:47 P.M. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair led the House in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
3:02:48 P.M. The House received a message from the Clerk. Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk notified the House that she had received the following message from the Secretary of the Senate on June 4, 2014 at 10:30 a.m.: That the Senate passed S. 2270.
3:03:50 P.M. Canada - United States Interparliamentary Group - Pursuant to 22 U.S.C. 276d and the order of the House of January 3, 2013 the Speaker appointed the following members of the House to the Canada - United States Interparliamentary Group: Mr. Higgins, Ms. Slaughter, Mr. Meeks, Mr. Larsen of WA and Mr. DeFazio.
3:04:24 P.M. World War I Centennial Commission - pursuant to section 4(b) of the World War I Centennial Commission Act and the order of the House of January 3, 2013, the Speaker appointed Ms. Monique Seefried, Atlanta, Georgia.
3:04:46 P.M. The Speaker announced that the House do now adjourn pursuant to section 3(b) of H. Res. 604. The next meeting is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on June 9, 2014.
