11:00:18 A.M. Today's prayer was offered by the House Chaplain, Rev. Patrick J. Conroy.
11:01:24 A.M. The Speaker announced approval of the Journal. Pursuant to clause 1, rule I, the Journal stands approved.
11:01:28 A.M. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair designated Mr. Culberson to lead the Members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
11:02:02 A.M. The House received a message from the Clerk. Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk notified the House that she had received a message from the Secretary of the Senate on January 2, 2013 at 5:36 p.m. stating that that body had passed H.R. 4606, H.R. 6655, and S. 3716.
11:03:00 A.M. H.R. 3408 Without objection, H.R. 3408 was laid on the table.
11:03:59 A.M. The Speaker announced that the House do now recess. The next meeting is subject to the call of the Chair.
11:55:27 A.M. The House convened, returning from a recess continuing the legislative day of January 3.
11:56:02 A.M. The Speaker announced that the House do now adjourn Sine Die. Pursuant to the 20th amendment to the Constitution of the United States, the Chair declares the 112th Congress adjourned sine die.
